PADI Discover Scuba Diving Koh Phangan

Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? Would you like to experience scuba diving for the very first time? Well you can with PADI Discover Scuba Diving Koh Phangan – a program for complete novices.

If you would like to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into the PADI Open Water Course, then the PADI Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) experience is for you. While not a scuba certification course, the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Program is a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world.

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving Koh Phangan is designed to introduce non-divers to the amazing world of scuba diving with a light amount of theory and in-water training. When you first experience scuba diving, you’ll discover excitement and adventure. Nothing compares to the “weightless” exhilaration of breathing underwater.

Local dives are normally conducted in the afternoons. Daily dive trips are available to Sail Rock. Koh Tao and Ang Thong Marine Park dive trips are scheduled based on the weather and demand. Please contact us before making a booking for diving trips Koh Tao and Ang Thong. 

PADI Discover Scuba Diving Koh Phangan Includes

• Introduction to the world of scuba diving, beginning at our on-site pool, beach or boat.
• Basic safety requirements and skills required to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional.
• Basic training of the scuba equipment you will use to dive with.
• Learn key skills that you’ll use during your open water dives.
• Open water dives from our boat (or beach/longtail if local dives).
• All required learning materials and dive equipment.
• Breakfast, lunch and refreshments (Sail Rock, Koh Tao and Ang Thong). Lunch and refreshments for local boat trips.
• Resort Transfers. Taxi fee is payable if located in Thong Nai Pan. No Haad Yuan or Haad Tien transfers.

Prerequisite

To sign up for PADI Discover Scuba Diving Koh Phangan with Asia Blue – Scuba, you must be at least 10 years of age and in good physical health. Please check that you can answer “NO” to the questions on the Medical Statement before making your booking. No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary.
